Born in Brunei Darussalam, Pausebybald @ Pengiran Sofian, well known as Eyan in the photography industry, is an easy out-going photographer to work with. 

Started getting back into photography in August 2006, capturing moments with a simple non-DSLR Fuji Finepix 5600. Images after images, he reached the limits of the Fuji and decided to move up a notch. Hence entering the DSLR world with a Nikon D80. 

November 2006, Eyan attended a dear friend's wedding, a chance for him to capture some beautiful moments of the bride, as a wedding gift. Not long after, David Cheok the official photographer for the wedding, contacted Eyan and asked if he would be interested to take an apprenticeship under him, thus the journey begins.

Eyan also does a lot of studio portraitures at Pictureworkz Studio. A unique Studio that was build up by David Cheok, Mizi Abdullah, Dedy Helmi and himself. His style of portraitures are considered dark, sultry yet tasty (huhu) enough for one's viewing pleasures.
